Welcome to Room for Joy
Room For Joy is dedicated to enhancing the healing
process of chronically ill children by providing positive,
imaginative bedroom environments. We create “dream
bedrooms” based on each child’s unique interests, using
wall murals, custom furniture and creative accessories to
highlight each room. We give special attention to the
medical, physical and emotional needs of each child by
adding special touches that personalize the rooms and
fulfill their dreams!

Dear Friends, Family and

Community Members
I want to begin by thanking those of you who have so generously contributed your time, talents and financial resources to Room for Joy.  Without you, we would not be about to reach out to these ill children and their families.
            
I’ve been asked many times “Why do you do this?” The answer comes from my faith in a loving God whom I believe calls each of us to use our unique talents and abilities to spread His light to those who are hurting. My particular passion is to help hurting children. I am truly blessed to be able to use my skills as an interior designer to create rooms for these special children. The amazing spirits of the children I meet constantly humble me.
I pray that by visiting our website you too will be inspired to join us on this journey reaching out to others. As always, we are in need of your talents, financial resources and prayers. There is no better feeling in the world than to use our skills and resources to brighten the life of an ill child.
