Working with Your SpinSite Website: How do I create a popup window?

These steps will show you how to create a fully editable popup window:

  1. Log in to your site, and make sure you are in Edit mode by clicking "Edit" on the SpinSite toolbar.

  2.  Create a blank page by selecting “Add Page” on the left sidebar.

  3. Add page content

  4. Create a row at the bottom of your page and copy the following  code:

    <div align="center" style="text-align: center;"><br />
    <form>
        <input align="middle" type="button" value="Close Window" onclick="javascript:window.close();" />
    </form>
    </div>

    This will create a “Close Window” button

  5. Save and publish page

  6. Go to the page from which you want the popup window to be accessed.

  7. Create either a text or image link to the popup window by   highlighting the text or image that will cause the popup window to appear, and click on the link icon (it looks like a globe with a link in front of it).  Enter the url of the popup window in the appropriate field.

  8. Click into the “Target” field in the “Link” window.

  9. Select <popup window>

  10. Name popup window

  11. Set the popup window features and dimensions

  12. Click “OK”

  13. Save and publish page
